Complete International C135 Gas Engine Overhaul & Clutch Kit

This motor had definitely seen better days.

The valves actually have holes burnt on the edges, blown head gasket in three places, antifreeze in the engine oil, four bent push rods, crank bearings completely washed out. Perfect candidate for a major overhaul. So we went to work on it right away. It is almost finished and I hope we can have it running by the weekend but you know how things go so we will have to wait and see.

The machine shop had their work cut out on this one. The head was completely hot tanked, pressure tested, new valve guides, intake/exhaust valves replaced, springs, keepers and valve guides. Block hot tanked and all plugs pulled to make sure it got a good bath. Crankshaft reground Rods .030, Mains .020. Now it's ready to put back together. Started putting it back together late this afternoon. It's getting a new clutch kit and yes the flywheel had to be milled. Should have the motor completely rebuilt after lunch tomorrow (Thursday). That includes tune up, timing, oil and filter installed and ready to put back in the tractor.

Now you know why it needed overhauled. Going back together Yuck!
